Amangalla
The suites are decorated in tasteful colonial style with glorious antiques and high quality reproductions on polished Burma teak floorboards. The bedrooms, chambers and suites offer a variety of views from Galle Fort itself to the hotel’s mature gardens. The bathrooms, in hardwood and white, are genteel and comfortable, with an ample armoire, twin vanities beneath large wooden mirrors, free-standing bathtubs and shower rooms.
Beach Haven Guest House
Opened in 1968 by the former deputy mayor of Galle, Mrs N.D. Wijenayake, also known to her friends as Sita, we are still a family-run business. We have ten clean and comfortable rooms, most with ensuite bathrooms and some with air-conditioning. We also provide sumptuous, home-cooked meals on request.
Deco on 44
Originally built in the 1930’s by a wealthy gem merchant, Deco on 44 has been renovated and decorated keeping in mind the art deco theme of its original architects. Fortaleza
As its coral walls attest, this elegant colonial building — once a spice warehouse — was built around 1600 in the heart of Galle Fort by a Dutch merchant. More recently it has been converted into a boutique hotel with three air-conditioned bedrooms, each of which — filled with handmade furniture and decked with bright flowers — exudes its own personality.

This newly built, spacious and airy colonial four room property overlooks the ramparts in a tranquil and peaceful location. The villa consists of four tastefully furnished rooms and is available for rent on a per room basis or in its entirety
Fort Dew Guest House
Fort Dew Guesthouse is a family owned guesthouse and restaurant since 2006. Overlooking the ramparts and Indian Ocean, our goal is to ensure that every one of our guests has a comfortable, enjoyable and memorable stay. We offer clean comfortable A/C & non A/C rooms with an attached sitting area, bath with hot and cold water. Some of our rooms have balconies facing the ocean.
Fort Printers
The Fort Printers is an 18th century mansion, recently restored into a fully serviced, elegant villa with classic and modern furnishings in a colorful palette. The mansion contains five suites furnished with silk curtains, crisp white linens, velvet bed spreads and pristine bathrooms. The mansion features grand living spaces including drawing and dining rooms, a library and a lap pool in the interior courtyard. A dedicated staff provide a friendly and personal service and serve an imaginative menu of Sri Lankan curries and Mediterranean inspired cuisine.
Fort Thari Inn
Located on a small sidestreet off Pedlar Street, this newly renovated guest house has clean and well appointed rooms, quiet A/C, hot showers and comfortable beds. A traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is served with string hoppers, curry, sambal and toast.
Frangipani Motel
Frangipani motel accommodation is ideal for families who want to unwind and relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this colonial style hotel. Frangipani offers 8 furnished rooms with A/C, fans, telephones, satellite, TV, hot/cold water and 24 hour room service.
Galle Fort Hotel
The Galle Fort Hotel has 12 exquisite a/c rooms and suites each with a unique interior and opening out to the central courtyard and the swimming pool. All the rooms are luxuriously furnished with king-sized beds dressed with canopied mosquito netting, crisp white linen and comfortable pillows. The ensuite bathrooms are stylish and have showers with hot and cold water.
The Galle Heritage Villa
The villa boasts 4 large, elegantly decorated suites with luxuriously comfortable beds and spacious en-suite bathrooms with hot/cold water and all modern amenities. Two guest suites are located upstairs and open on to a balcony with a garden view, the other two are adjoining the great hall, one of which has private access to the large front veranda and private seating area.

Light House View Inn is a family-run hotel situated across from the Galle Fort Light House facing the beach and the Rampart. The hotel has A/C rooms and an open-air terrace restaurant with magnificent views overlooking Galle Fort Light House.
Mama's Galle Fort
Located in a beautifully restored mid nineteenth century shop house, it is close to the marine lighthouse, the ramparts, mosque and two minutes on foot from the fort's very own little beach. There are two very comfortable and large air-conditioned suites, which occupy the first floor. The house has a ground floor dining area and a large shaded roof terrace cafe and chill out space, with spectacular views over rooftops to the sea.
